Full-Time Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA)

Are you a passionate and skilled Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) seeking a fulfilling career Millennium Home Care a leading provider of in-home healthcare services is looking for a dedicated full-time OTA to join our team. Responsibilities:

  • Patient Care: Provide skilled therapy services under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
  • Therapeutic Interventions: Implement treatment plans including therapeutic exercises activities of daily living training and adaptive equipment training.
  • Patient Education: Educate patients and families on techniques to improve functional skills and independence.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress treatment plans and interventions.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with Occupational Therapists physical therapists and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Infection Control: Adhere to strict infection control guidelines to protect both patients and healthcare workers.

Requirements:

  • Certification: Current and valid Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) license in the state of Florida.
  • Experience: Minimum of 6 months experience in hospital skilled nursing facility or rehab required.
  • Skills: Excellent communication interpersonal and critical thinking skills.
  • Professionalism: Strong work ethic reliability and a commitment to providing quality care.
  • Transportation: Reliable transportation to visit patients in their homes.
