SUMMARY OF ASSIGNMENT
Under the direction of the Director of Transportation or his/her designee the bus driver is responsible for the safe efficient and effective transportation of students to and from school. This poistion is subject toFederal Motor Carrier Safety Administration Mandated Drug and Alcohol Testing Program as provided in District Policy #5202.

Previous experience preferred.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Ability to use fingers hands and arms sit for prolonged periods of time. Ability to bend stretch twist walk reach and perform recurring physical activity requiring ordinary strength. Ability to hear and see to perform duties of driving bus. Exposures include traffic inclement weather at times cold heat dust fumes possible infectious diseases. Constant exposure to moderate level of noise that does not require hearing protection and occasional disruptive behavior of students. Required to operate hand and foot controls. Able to lift up to fifty (50) pounds in difficult working positions. Exposure to vibration of moving vehicle while in a sitting position. Constant mental and visual attention required.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
Employment with Clover Park School District is conditional pending completion of a Washington State Patrol and Federal Bureau of Investigation fingerprint background check as required by RCW28A.400.303. (NOTE: All associated background check fees are the employees responsibility.) The fingerprint scan must be completed prior to the first day of employment.

Employees who are anticipated to work 630 hours during the school year (September 1 through August 31) are eligible for medical dental vision long term disability and basic life insurance benefits. RETIREMENT AND DEFERRED COMPENSATION
Eligible employees are required to be a member of the Washington State Department of Retirement System Plan. For eligibility information check on the link to theDepartment of Retirement Systems website.

These are supplemental retirement savings programs that allows you control over the amount of pretax salary dollars you defer as well as the flexibility to choose between multiple investment options.

*Bonuses are paid as follows: The first half of the bonus will be paid at the successful completion of the ninety (90) day probationary period. The remaining half of the bonus will be paid on the June 30 2026 pay warrant contingent upon if the employees active and continued employment by the District at that time. If a person resigns or is terminated prior to June they forfeit the remaining bonus payment.
