Why Your Role Matters:
Under the direction of the School Manager the Administrative Support Officer provides administrative support and assistance within the school to ensure effective delivery of the teaching and research activities of the School. The Administrative Support Officer plays a key role in the establishment maintenance and improvement of School systems and processes to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the school. As a key member of the School Administrative team the Administrative Support Officer will contribute to team initiatives and promote productive working relationships with Faculty and University colleagues Defence and industry stakeholders visitors and students.
Who You Are (skills and experience):
Relevant administrative experience including the ability to consult and liaise with colleagues and internal and external stakeholders on complex operational queries.
Demonstrated experience supporting and contributing to projects and initiatives.
Excellent communication skills.
Highly developed organisational skills and proven ability to work within strict deadlines with strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
Proficiency in a range of computer skills including word processing spreadsheets databases internet and email with a demonstrated ability to learn and implement new systems.
