The successful candidate will teach 18 credits per academic year and teach all levels of German as well as courses in our general education curriculum (first-year seminar). Native or near-native fluency in German and English is . Specialization is open. Candidates with an interdisciplinary focus or background such as STEM-infused German language and culture courses would be of particular interest. The candidate must be committed to excellent teaching in a liberal arts setting and contribute to the growth of our German program including attending German events. Evidence of research and scholarly productivity is desirable.
