Job Description:
The Application Tester ensures the quality of new functionalities in applications by executing exhaustive tests following the defined test strategy for the project and by using state-of-the-art test tools. He will ensure the quality of existing functionalities by executing non regression tests. He will report to development teams any difference on expected results.
Main Activities:
- read analyze and review all the project documents
- write test-scripts based on received documents
- execute the test-scripts
- Create and document the issues (defects)
- undertake the close follow-up of the correction of the defects
- closely collaborate with development teams
- Maintain the reference data base of tests for the future releases of his application (non regression tests)
- Support external customers during their acceptance test phases
- Will be involved in maintenance phase for bugs discovered in production systems (reproduce test corrections)
- Min 2 years payment domain expertise
- ISTQB foundation certified
- Min 5 yrs of testing experience
- Good in Unix and SQL
- JAVA coding experience will be value add
