Location: Richmond-upon-Thames South West London
Contract: Part-Time Term Time Only
Start Date: September 2025

Are you an experienced French Teacher or Tutor looking for a rewarding part-time role
A high-achieving and creative primary school in Richmond-upon-Thames is looking to appoint a Primary French Teacher or Tutor to join their team from September 2025 (or earlier). This Primary French Teacher or Tutor role is part-time just one day a week and offers the chance to inspire young learners while shaping a vibrant MFL offer across the school.
As a Primary French Teacher or Tutor you will deliver engaging French lessons during the school day and run French clubs. The school is looking for someone who can spark curiosity develop pupils confidence and support language learning in fun and accessible ways.
This Primary French Teacher or Tutor opportunity is ideal for someone with experience teaching groups of children and a real enthusiasm for languages and primary education.
Key responsibilities:
- Teaching French to groups of children across the school
- Running after-school or lunchtime French clubs
- Inspiring pupils to enjoy and take pride in learning languages
- Supporting the ongoing development of the MFL curriculum
Were looking for:
- A Bachelors degree from a UK university (essential)
- Experience working with children ideally in education
- A genuine passion for language teaching and primary learning
- Someone proactive positive and committed
