Key responsibilities for the Aspiring Mental Health Practitioner:
Provide 1:1 and small group interventions to support mental wellbeing
Work closely with SEND students and those requiring behavioural support
Take a proactive approach in managing behaviour and supporting emotional needs
Build positive relationships with students parents and staff
Implement mental health strategies to aid in academic and personal development
Lead targeted activities designed to boost confidence resilience and focus
Follow curriculum plans with an emphasis on progress and attainment
Collaborate within a large school environment contributing to a supportive culture

A top 20 UK university graduate with a degree related to mental health psychology or education
A confident Aspiring Mental Health Practitioner who is calm and resilient
A team player with a keen interest in student wellbeing and emotional development
Experience supporting children or young people ideally in an educational setting
Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
A flexible and creative approach to supporting diverse needs
