Position: Business Analyst
Resume Due Date: Wednesday June 25 2025 (5:00PM EST)

Level: MP3 $50 - $70/hr INC
Duration: 12 Months
Hours of work: 35
Location: 889 Brock Road or 700 University Avenue (will relocate to CHQ) (Hybrid 2 days remote)
Job Overview
- Participate in all phases of the project life cycle including Initiation Planning Definition Execution and Closeout.
- Contribute to the implementation of systems ranging from single stand-alone applications to large complex systems with extensive integrations requiring comprehensive organizational change management.
- Support all stages of the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) including requirements definition solution architecture & design software development system integration testing and quality assurance.
- Support projects through rapid development methodologies such as Agile Iterative etc.
- Foster relationships between business unit and IT (Information Technology) groups through interaction with line of business leaders power users understanding the true business needs priorities and strategies.
- Participate in technology and business risk analysis with an effort to identify implications root-cause and creative solutions.
- Support and facilitate the development of business cases that will provide funding release through various projects gates.
- Apply industry best practices to help the project team maintain a focus on continuous improvement including knowledge of project management developments and practices trends in IT technology and services systems management disciplines and related industry best practices that could add value to the business.
- Develop project schedules for project deliverables.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in information technology Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Requires a minimum of 5 years experience as a business analyst and experience as an SAP business analyst in a similar industry is preferred
- Certification in Business Analysis (e.g. CBAP CCBA SAP) is preferred
- Agile Certification (e.g. CSM CPO etc.) is preferred
- Experience working with a Product-Oriented Delivery Model
- Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to provide solutions and guidance to the project team and line of business
- Proficient in documentation and validation of business requirements from stakeholders
- Thorough understanding of the entire SDLC and with experience working on complex IT projects from inception to completion (i.e. Software Application Infrastructure Cloud Computing Data Migration System Migration Security etc.)
- Experience contributing to projects through rapid development methodologies such as Agile Iterative etc.
- Experience in planning and testing software solutions
- Experience working with Microsoft suite of products (MS Project Excel Access PowerPoint Visio) and Microsoft DevOps for requirements and work management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
