Job Description
ENTRUST Solutions Group is seeking a forward-thinking Engineering Lead to head our Electrical Interference Effects team within our Consulting group. This is a high-impact leadership role ideal for someone who thrives on solving complex technical challenges and is excited to help expand our service offerings across North America. With a demand in both Electrical and Oil and Gas sectors this position offers significant potential for career advancement and professional growth.
In this role you would lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers and technicians to deliver cutting-edge studies on electrical interferences across critical infrastructure - pipelines railroads substations and transmission systems. You would oversee modeling and analysis for AC/DC interference EMI/EMF and grounding systems while also managing project timelines budgets and client relationships. Your expertise will shape the direction of our consulting services and your voice will be heard at industry conferences and in strategic business development efforts. Occasional travel (up to 20%) across the U.S. and Canada will give you the opportunity to see your work in action and collaborate directly with clients and colleagues.
Required Qualifications:
- 6-10 years of relevant experience leading interference studies for oil and gas pipelines electrical powerlines and substations HVDC systems railways and other related infrastructure.
- Proficiency with SES CDEGS software suite specifically Hi-Freq and/or ROW modules.
- Communication and leadership skills to manage cross-functional teams and client relationships.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Field experience with soil resistivity testing fall of potential measurements and electrical grounding assessments.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations including IEEE StdNACE/AMPP CSA OCCand PHMSA 49 CFR 192 and 195.
- SES Level 1 or NACE CP certification.
- Professional licensure as a (Canada) and/or P.E. (U.S.)
