ABOUT THIS POSITION:
The team member will coordinate a small volunteer services program or assist a higher level volunteer director in the administration of a large volunteer program.
REQUIREMENTS TO QUALIFY: If you performed work that differs from the duties described in your class specification and believe you qualify for this opportunity please provide verification via official documentation of additional responsibility bonus out-of-class bonus temporary assignment bonus or reclassification study with CEO Classification within ten (10) calendar days from the last day of filing. OPTION 1:
Two years of experience in a volunteer program. An associate degree* may be substituted for one year of the required experience.
OPTION 2:
One year of experience recruiting training teaching or coordinating a group of individuals.

LICENSE:
A valid California Class C Driver License or the ability to utilize an alternative method of transportation when needed to carry out job-related essential functions.
PHYSICAL CLASS:
Physical Class II - Light: This class includes administrative and clerical positions requiring light physical effort that may include occasional light lifting to a 10-pound limit and some bending stooping or squatting. Considerable ambulation may be involved.
Once we have reviewed the application those who are deemed qualified will be invited to participate in our assessment process.
ASSESSMENT CONTENT:This examination will consist of a multiple choice and/or simulation assessment weighted 100% assessing the following:
Only candidates who achieve a passing score of 70% or higher will be placed on the eligible list.
MULTIPLE CHOICE AND/OR SIMULATION ASSESSMENTS ARE NOT REVIEWABLE BY CANDIDATES PER CIVIL SERVICE RULE 7.19.
TRANSFER OF TEST COMPONENT:We provide study guides and other test preparation resources to help candidates prepare for employment tests. While the guides may help in preparing for the test we recommend reviewing all related materials that seem necessary.
Candidates who passed the assessment are placed on the eligible list in the order of their score group for a period of twelve (12) months. We will use this list to fill vacancies as they occur.
