Job Description
Job Title: Experienced Part 1 Architectural Assistant
Location: Chelmsford
Salary: 26000 - 30000
Aztrum is delighted to be partnering with an award-winning multi-disciplinary architectural practice based in Chelmsford. With a strong portfolio in large-scale residential and masterplanning developments this forward-thinking studio is expanding their head office team to meet increasing project demand. They are now seeking a confident and capable Experienced Part 1 Architectural Assistant to support the delivery of planning and technical design work across a range of residential-led projects nationwide.
Key responsibilities for the Experienced Part 1 Architectural Assistant:
Support the design and development of residential schemes at various stages.
Assist in the preparation of planning submission documentation.
Interpret client briefs into clear and visually engaging design proposals.
Help produce annotated drawings and presentation materials to communicate design intent.
Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary project team to meet key deadlines.
Liaise with clients and planning authorities throughout the South and East of England.
Key requirements for the Experienced Part 1 Architectural Assistant:
RIBA Part 1 qualification or equivalent degree in Architecture.
12 years of UK practice experience ideally focused on residential or masterplanning work.
Familiarity with housing-led projects for housebuilders developers or land promoters.
Experience liaising with planning departments and private clients is desirable.
Proficient in AutoCAD Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite.
Good working knowledge of UK planning policy and building regulations.
Strong organisational graphic and communication skills.
Enthusiastic team player with a keen eye for design and detail.
