You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe post holder will work in the Contract Management branch within Ferries Directorate that is responsible for all directly subsidised ferry services within Scotland. These include the Clyde & Hebrides and Northern Isles contracts. The essential nature of ferries means that there is a lot of local presentational interest in what we do.
The post will focus predominantly on Contract Management however there will also be interaction with colleagues in Ferries Policy along with other internal and external stakeholders.
The role offers an exciting opportunity to work within a high profile environment and work closely with Scottish Ministers. You will also have opportunities to occasionally travel to Glasgow or Edinburgh and out on the ferry network for meetings possibly requiring overnight stays.

Working Pattern
Our standard hours are 35 hours per week. We offer a range of flexible and hybrid working options depending on the needs of the role. If you have specific questions about the role you are applying for please contact us.
Location
This post is based inGlasgow or Edinburgh with hybrid working in line with current Transport Scotland policies. You will be expected to be office based twice per week pro rata.
