Job Summary (List Format): Sr. Business Analyst Public Sector (Sacramento CA)
- 9-month contract position with potential for extension.
- Location: Sacramento CA (local candidates preferred; must be willing to relocate if not local).
- Minimum 7 years of business analyst experience.
- Proven track record as a lead and/or sole business analyst.
- Must have recent experience working within the public sector (not healthcare or data migration).
- Experience supporting full-cycle software development projects from inception to completion.
- Strong LinkedIn presence is required.
- Minimum 5 years experience working within system development lifecycles (SDLC) identifying evaluating and recommending business/technical requirements for system and network design/development.
- At least 5 years experience engaging directly with end-users in a production support environment.
- Demonstrated ability (5 years) to facilitate collaborate and negotiate with stakeholders at all levels including executives.
- At least 3 years experience producing complex process/system requirement documentation (e.g. requirement traceability matrixes as-is/to-be diagrams use case modeling user stories and narratives).
- 3 years experience working independently and in teams meeting deadlines and solving problems.
- Minimum 2 years experience in process and systems analysis process architecture and using project management methodologies (Waterfall and Agile).
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field required.
