Location: Charlotte NC (300 Brevard St)
Contract - 12 months possibility to extend no plans to convert
RTO schedule - 3 days in office MANDATORY (team typically in office together Tues/Thurs)
Agile 1-2 Years
Java Developer 4-6 Years
Jira 1-2 Years
React Angular or NodeJS 2-4 Years
SQL Developer 2-4 Years

Capital Markets is a soft nice to have.
People in place now are maintaining the applications that are there. They are going to be redesigning it for a future relaunch so contractors will take over the BAU maintenance of the current apps. Project has a 2-3 year timeline.
Use Java and SQL to pull data from the risk calculation reports. Aggregate data up the risk management chain. Have a lot of UIs for the risk portal built in Angular. Looking to modernize the database using the Iceberg Big Data platform. Big Data qualifications would be a useful add for the team.
If someone uses a tool like Hibernate they likely havent been writing a lot of SQL queries.
Scrum meeting in the morning every other day. Every person on the team is assigned a Jira ticket. Will work a lot with the RTM most of the team is junior so hes fairly hands on.
Interviews will be in person to avoid AI cheating. 300 Brevard the only location able to be considered.
Big Data (Iceberg Dremio Starburst etc. are nice to have)
