We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Real Estate Asset Acquisition professional to join our team in Kolkata West Bengal. This role will focus on asset acquisition within the NCLT (National Company Law Tribunal) and liquidation environments requiring a strong grasp of market dynamics and regulatory frameworks. The ideal candidate will leverage their legal knowledge (L.L.B. to effectively navigate the complexities of real estate transactions ensuring due diligence and compliance throughout the acquisition process. You will play a pivotal role in driving strategic asset purchases that align with our organizational objectives.
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify potential acquisition opportunities.
- Negotiate acquisition terms and conditions to secure advantageous purchasing agreements.
- Perform comprehensive due diligence on properties including legal and financial assessments.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes affecting real estate transactions in India.
- Develop and manage project timelines and deliverables for acquisitions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align acquisition strategies with business goals.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with stakeholders including brokers and legal entities.
- Report on acquisition activities and market trends to senior management.
Requirements
- L.L.B. degree from a recognized institution.
- 5 to 24 years of relevant experience in real estate acquisition or related fields.
- Strong market analysis skills to evaluate investment potential.
- Exceptional negotiation skills to achieve favorable acquisition outcomes.
- Solid financial acumen and understanding of asset valuation.
- Proficient in conducting due diligence and understanding regulatory compliance.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
- Effective networking abilities to build lasting relationships in the industry.
