Senior Sustainability Manager
Brussels Belgium (Hybrid)
Are you an experienced sustainability professional with a passion for driving strategic change and mentoring high-performing teams Our client is responding to the growing demand for sustainability leadership by seeking a Senior Sustainability Manager to lead complex projects guide clients toward transformative impact and shape the future of sustainable business.
What You Can Expect
As a Senior Manager you ll take ownership of high-impact sustainability engagements across various industries both in Belgium and internationally. You ll lead client relationships deliver strategic solutions and coach multidisciplinary teams all while collaborating with other experts to grow our sustainability practice.
You ll play a key role in:
Leading end-to-end sustainability and ESG projects
Translating environmental social and governance (ESG) objectives into actionable business strategies
Guiding clients through regulatory frameworks reporting standards (CSRD SFDR etc.) and decarbonization efforts
Mentoring and developing junior consultants
Helping shape broader sustainability offering and thought leadership
Requirements
- You hold a Master s degree in Business Engineering Engineering Sustainability Environmental Science or a related field
You bring 6 years of professional experience including 5 years in sustainability consulting or equivalent leadership roles
You have deep expertise in sustainability frameworks ESG strategy or climate-related risk
You re a natural leader and communicator confident in managing senior stakeholders and presenting complex ideas clearly
Fluent in English and Dutch and/or French
You embody an entrepreneurial mindset
You are based in Belgium and open to occasional travel

Master's degree in Business Engineering, Innovation, Strategy or other relevant degree. A minimum of 4 years of experience in strategy consulting, telecommunications, or a related industry. In-depth knowledge of the telecommunications sector, including technology trends and market dynamics. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and client-facing skills. Proficiency in financial analysis and modeling. Fluency in English Dutch and French.
