Job Description
Inspector / Packer
Pay:$18/hour (Based on Experience)
Hours:Monday Friday 6:00 PM 6:00 AM
Location:Sand Springs OK
Job Type:Temp-to-Hire
Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable and detail-orientedInspector/Packerto join our team in Sand Springs. This role involves inspecting and packaging heat-forged rail track spikes to meet both customer and industry quality standards. The position is divided evenly between inspection and packaging duties rotating on a formal schedule.
Key Responsibilities
Inspection Duties 50
Visually inspect forged spikes for surface defects such as cracks pits laps discoloration excessive scale or deformation
Use fixed or preset gauges to verify spike dimensions and head shape
Monitor conveyor line activity to detect and resolve jams
Packaging Duties 50
Operate automated filler equipment to ensure proper container weight
Adjust and calibrate load scales as needed
Manually place filled containers onto pallets
Label containers with correct product information and maintain accurate records
Additional Responsibilities
Operate a forklift occasionally to transport palletized kegs to docks shrink-wrap stations or temporary storage
Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Comfortable performing repetitive tasks with consistent attention to detail
Basic understanding of measurement tools and gauges
Forklift experience preferred (training may be provided)
Strong work ethic and reliability
