Job Summary:
The primary purpose of this role is to assist the business with product pricing and costings to ensure delivery within COGs targets. This is achieved through the delivery of weekly and monthly reporting analysis and management of stock control processes.

Main Area of Responsibility:
- Set up new products and recipes including batches in H&L and Cooking the Books.
- Maintain and update all products and recipes in H&L and Cooking the Books.
- Receive supplier invoices into H&L and Cooking the Books as required.
- Investigate stock take variances and resolve issues with venue management teams and store men.
- Assist venues in completing stock counts and system entry where required.
- Update and maintain POS layout and functionality.
- Organize weekly menu price changes and update accordingly to the weekly schedule.
- Training in BOH H&L and POS use where required.
- Ensure all items are set up properly and pricing and COG targets are within budgets.
- Report on anomalies for pricing and COG targets.
- Provide venues with daily support and deliver relevant reports and data to help progress toward COGs targets.
- Analysis and reporting of purchase cost variances.
- Prepare weekly reports of food and beverage COGS costings
- Prepare any ad hoc reports of COGs and sales on request from venues and Senior Management Team.
- Maintain up to date SOP documentation.
- Assist the Analyst Team as required.
Requirements
Requirements/Skills needed:
- 2 years previous experience in similar role is ideal
- Previous experience with H&L or similar stock control system is ideal
- Previous experience in hospitality retail or similar industry is beneficial
- Understanding OD data and SQL beneficial
- Strong problem-solving and initiative skills required to identify and resolve with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong analysis skills and the ability to interpret complex data and information and ability to simplify to internal stakeholders.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Advanced attention to detail and ability to utilize systems.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and manage and prioritize competing deadlines.
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills

Job Summary: As the Assistant Accountant you will be joining a supportive Finance team operating from our headquarters based in Sydney.
