Job Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Strong skills are a must in aluminum pipe fitting welding & installation. Aluminum TIG welds a must.
- Hand plasma cutting.
- Fitting assemblies to weld.
- Piping and fitting welding.
- Welding with quality and attention to cosmetic detail is a MUST.
- Read and understand Blueprints.
- Work Safely and Maintain clean and organized work area.
- Operate Miller and Lincoln welding equipment.
- Operate lifting equipment.
- Operate standard fabrication equipment such as horizontal saw drill press grinders.
- Operate plasma cutter cutting torch and hand saws.
- Perform quality and durability checks on finished pipe assemblies.
- Fabricate minor brackets as needed.
- Must adhere to all company safety and operation policies.
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE SKILLS ABILITIESinclude but are not limited to the following.
- Proven experience in conducting quality inspections.
- Strategic thinker and strong analytical skills.
- Good eye for detail and understand quality levels set for tank construction
- Analyze problems detect root causes and resolve all issues.
- Excellent prioritization skills time management planning and organization.
- Self-motivated with solid interpersonal skills achievement oriented.
- Be knowledgeable of general welding safety welding PPE welding health and safety best practices.
- PC skills in Microsoft Excel Word a plus.
- High School diploma GED or equivalent work experience.
- Diploma or Certificate of welding school or at least one year of equivalent work experience welding similar materials using GTAW/GMAW process.
