Description
- Responsible for guiding the development of system technical and product standards based on business plans and long-term strategies while working in an Agile environment.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of Agile environments.
- Demonstrate extensive knowledge of contemporary frameworks and emerging technologies.
- Communicate complex layered systems clearly and visually.
- Position requires travel. May be assigned to various unanticipated sites throughout U.S.
- Telecommuting permitted up to 100%.
Qualifications
Employer will accept a Bachelors degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science Mechanical
Engineering or related field and 5 years of experience in the job offered or in a Solutions Engineer-related occupation.
Position requires 5 years of experience in the following:
- Proficiency with server-side frameworks and technologies including Spring Boot and .
- Proficiency with Relational Databases and NoSQL databases.
- Proficiency with cloud-based providers and containerized solutions including AWS.
- Cloud Foundry or Kubernetes.
- Creating applications with a high degree of observability utilizing DataDog and Open Telemetry.
- Event-based architectures and integration with API first microservices.
- Working knowledge of cyber security concerns from access control and authentication to secured SDLC processes.
- Familiarity with the ACORD data structures and experience modeling insurance transactions following ACORD conventions.
- Practicing DevOps and SecOps.
- Business operations and strategies including knowledge of global business technology trends and the Insurance Industry.
- Position requires travel. May be assigned to various unanticipated sites throughout U.S. Telecommuting permitted up to 100%.
