Key Responsibilities
- Lead manage and develop the structural engineering section at the local office level
- Drive business development initiatives and establish a strong market presence in the local area
- Collaborate with office managers and practice leaders to implement strategic growth plans

Oversee departmental budgets and allocate resources efficiently
- Guide and contribute to the preparation of project proposals and marketing materials
- Provide technical expertise and mentorship to project managers and engineering staff
- Forecast staffing needs and participate in recruitment and hiring processes
- Conduct performance reviews and support employee development through coaching and feedback

Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline from an accredited institution

Active Professional Engineer (PE) License
- Minimum 10 years of experience in horizontal structural engineering (bridges preferred)

Proven experience in project management and business development

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word Outlook PowerPoint)
Preferred Qualifications

Strong relationships with local county or state government clients

Previous experience in a supervisory or team leadership role
- Working knowledge of regional infrastructure design standards and regulations
