Job Description
Position: Logistics Analyst
First Care Medical is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Logistics Analyst to join our team. This is a full-time permanent position with opportunities for growth and advancement within our company. As a Logistics Analyst you will play a crucial role in the efficient and effective management of our companys supply chain and logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels are maintained
- Coordinate and track the movement of goods and materials from suppliers to distribution centers and ultimately to customers
- Collaborate with suppliers and carriers to negotiate transportation rates and ensure timely delivery of goods
- Develop and implement strategies to improve supply chain efficiency and reduce costs
- Conduct regular audits and analysis of logistics data to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities
- Prepare and present reports on logistics performance and make recommendations for process improvements
- Maintain accurate records of inventory shipments and other logistics data
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve logistics processes and procedures
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Logistics or a related field
- 2 years of experience in logistics supply chain or operations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other logistics software
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
