LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE 4E MEDICAL TELEMETRY
4E is a 32 bed medical telemetry unit that serves an adult population of stable patients with a variety of diagnoses including cellulitis chest pain shortness of breath COVID low blood pressure COPD etc. 4E is a busy unit that is a great place for new grad nurses to build and solidify their skills. Friendly upbeat staff provide excellent patient care while focusing on teamwork to help the unit run smoothly. No call or rotating shifts.
HOURS:
POSITION SUMMARY:
A licensed caregiver who provides nursing care under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse. Participates in the nursing process in the planning implementation and evaluation of care in accordance with patient care standards and physician orders. They actas a liaison between the physician patient and family and collaborates with other members of the interdisciplinary team. Theyassistin the orientation process of new personnel and may participate in Health Center and department committees. The LPN must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to age groups according to specific chronological age developmental age and/or psycho-social maturity.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
Graduate of an accredited LPN school of nursing and current licensure by Ohio State Board of Nursing.
Required length of experience:
New grads welcome. IV and Antibiotic certification required.
Required licensure certification and/or registry:
Current license by the Ohio State Board of Nursing.
CPR BLS required.
