Job Description
Pay Rate: $16.50 per hour ($17.50 per hour after 30 days)
- The Head Cook I is responsible for setting up and monitoring ovens during cooking process.
- The worker transporting racks of product from the cool room to the oven and removes racks from the oven after cooking.
- The Cook is responsible for moving racks of product. Racks of product are moved using a powered cart/mover but carts are positioned to maximize floor space in the oven and in storage areas.
- The Cook is responsible for standing to observe ovens and set up/control machinery panels and to observe oven displays during the cooking process.
- The worker also stands to perform checks after product is removed from the oven and when weighing racks.
- To operate and monitor all cooking processes and programs. Help maintain and improve quality and food safety to ensure compliance with company quality standards and USDA regulatory requirements.
Qualifications :
- Must be able to read speak and understand English.
- Must be able to pull and push racks of product up to 2000 lbs.
- Must be able to walk balance reach handle stand climb rotate
- Must be able to scan product.
- Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs.
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to work in hot and cold environment.
- Must be able to communicate with maintenance USDA Q.A and Management.
- Ability to operate Pallet Jack and CartCaddy.
