As anActivities DirectoratElk Run Assisted Livingyou will manage a small team of activities professionals plan and conduct fun and exciting activities for our ideal candidate is self-motivated with a genuine concern for our residents well-being and has a creative personality and positive attitude.
Position Type: Full-Time
Wage Range: $25.00-$28.00 / hour depending on experience
Activities Director Responsibilities:
- Manage a small team of activities professionals.
- Ensure meaningful activities are scheduled and executed seven days a week.
- Encourage support and assist residents with activities.
- Display an attitude of courtesy and respect for all residents families and staff.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Activities Director Qualifications:
- 1 year of experience working in a senior living or recreation therapy setting required.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
- Artistic and musical skills are a plus.
- Desire to work with the older adults in an assisted living setting
- Strong interpersonal and social skills are vital.
- Good customer service instincts will be important in interacting with family members and visitors.
- Engaging enthusiastic willing to learn and overflowing with creativity to share in planning new activities
