Job Purpose
Hertz Equipment Rental Corporation (HERC) is an industry leader specializing in construction and industrial equipment rental. The purpose of the Warehouse Person position is to be responsible for the receipt and delivery of small tools equipment products and include processing orders inventory management and minor/limited repair and maintenance of tools. He/She performs at the highest standard of quality inside and outside of the branch acting as a representative of HERC. He/she has mastered and consistently follows the operating standards of the branch the region and corporation.
What you will do...
- Follow and comply with all warehouse policies and procedures
- Ensure the accuracy of transactions within our inventory management systems
- Inventory management and control
- Manage the delivery and recovery of all packages through the use of various couriers/carriers as per shipping instructions
- Follow safety practices and maintain consistent housekeeping practices in the warehouse and at off-sitelocations
- Diagnose troubleshoot and maintain various issues with the small tools light equipment and other rental items
- Complete the required paperwork and record keeping associated with maintenance and repairs
- Manage and maintain the condition of the tool trailer
- Related duties as necessary for the accomplishment of the position
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements
- Previous general and manual labor experience preferably in the equipment rentalconstruction home improvement retail or light industrial markets
- Minimum of 2 years of warehouse operations experience within the last 3 years
- Previous practical work experience operating hand-operated tools gas powered tools andsmall industrial equipment.
Skills
- Understands the importance of time management and the standards of operating procedures
- Read and comprehend owners manuals and product/warning labels
- Ability to operate and manipulate assorted industrial and general tools
- Ability to safely lift up to 50 LBs
- Customer service skills
- Ability to work multiple shifts

Pay Range: $25.60 per hour
