Job Description

Graduate Assistant Enrollment Management & Admissions
Department:Athletics
Location: Columbia MO
Type: Staff Part-time
Pay:$13.75 - $13.75 per hour (Pay range may vary based on geographic location)

Job Summary:
The Admissions Graduate Assistant will provide overall support with the day-to-day operations of the Columbia College Admissions Office.
Other Considerations:
  • Perform job duties per Columbia Colleges vision mission and values and contribute to the Division of Enrollment Management and Marketing.
  • Practice superior customer service.
  • Display respect and civility to all constituencies in all communications.
  • Attend work on a timely and regular basis during the established hours of operation; work additional hours as business necessitates.
  • Work the Admissions Office front desk by answering incoming calls and greeting assisting and directing students staff vendors and visitors as appropriate.
  • Work collaboratively with the Operations Manager Events Operations Manager and other staff in the day-to-day operations of the Admissions office
  • Assist with Event planning set-up tear-down and general operation as needed
  • Assist in giving campus tours to prospective students and visitors to campus
  • Assist in recruitment of new students to Columbia College by giving tours working events doing outreach by phone text and email
  • May require some weekend and evenings
  • Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelors Degree.
  • Must be accepted in to the Graduate Program at Columbia College.
  • Experience as an athlete
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in a college environment

  • Student Ambassadors
  • Student Workers
Supervision Received:
  • Operations Manager
  • Events Operation Manager
