We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Corporate Accounting to join our finance team. This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing all aspects of our corporate accounting functions including the monthly close and consolidation process for both domestic and international entities. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with strong technical accounting skills a deep understanding of ERP systems (Netsuite experience highly preferred) and a proven ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external partners.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the monthly quarterly and annual financial close and consolidation process ensuring accuracy and timeliness for both domestic and international entities.
Oversee the preparation and review of all corporate journal entries and account reconciliations ensuring proper accounting treatment in accordance with US GAAP and local statutory requirements.
Manage the chart of accounts and ensure consistent application of accounting policies across all entities.
Utilize Netsuite ERP system extensively for all accounting operations identifying opportunities for system optimization and efficiency improvements.
Collaborate closely with leaders from various departments (e.g. Operations Sales HR Legal) to ensure accurate and complete financial reporting and provide guidance on accounting matters.
Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors managing the consolidated financial audit and coordinating all local statutory audits for international entities.
Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards regulations and internal controls.
Oversee the accounts payable process and ensure timely and accurate processing and payment of vendor invoices and employee expense reports in compliance with the companys expense policies.
Develop implement and maintain strong internal controls over financial reporting.
Lead mentor and develop a high-performing accounting team.
Prepare and present financial reports and analyses to senior management.
Participate in special projects and initiatives as required.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA strongly preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of progressive accounting experience with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Proven experience with multi-entity and international consolidations.
Strong technical accounting knowledge (US GAAP required; IFRS a plus).
Expert-level proficiency with ERP systems; Netsuite experience is highly preferred.
Excellent analytical problem-solving and organizational skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization and external stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience managing and developing a team.
The ability to work in an area requiring special attention to detail and regular monthly deadlines.
The ability to grow and take on more responsibilities as required.
