About the Role:
As Director Product Management for B2B Search you will lead the strategy for a capability vital to key Dow Jones B2B products including Factiva and Dow Jones Risk & Compliance. Your vision will empower sophisticated usersfrom financial analysts to compliance officersto efficiently discover critical insights within our extensive content and data. This highly strategic role involves tackling the complex challenges of modern search leveraging advanced technologies like Generative AI to innovate and deliver exceptional user experiences. You will operate with autonomy to shape the future of search across our B2B portfolio driving significant business value. This role reports to the VP of PM for Platforms.

You Will:

• Develop own and champion the overarching product strategy and vision for B2B Search across relevant Dow Jones platforms.
• Establish and manage operational plans roadmaps and backlogs for B2B search ensuring alignment with strategic goals and effective execution.
• Lead and inspire cross-functional teams (engineering data science design etc.) to deliver high-quality search features and platform enhancements.
• Drive alignment and build consensus among diverse senior stakeholders across technology commercial and content teams.
• Define monitor analyze and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for B2B search using data to inform strategy and demonstrate product value.
• Continuously evaluate the competitive landscape user feedback and emerging technologies (especially Generative AI) to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in B2B Search.

You Have:

• 12 years of experience in product management with a significant track record in a leadership capacity focused on complex B2B products data products or information services.
• Demonstrated experience developing product strategy setting operational plans and driving alignment to achieve cohesive outcomes for large complex product areas.
• Proven ability to deeply understand diverse B2B user workflows and translate customer needs into impactful product solutions.
• Proven ability to translate customer needs and technical possibilitiesinformed by a strong understanding of Generative AI concepts and their potential applicationsinto actionable product strategy and requirements.
• Deep understanding of search technologies (indexing querying ranking) relevance concepts and NLP is a plus.
• Familiarity with Dow Jones B2B products (Factiva Risk & Compliance) or experience in the financial information or news media industry is a plus.
