Job Description
Job Title: Automation and Controls Engineer PLC Programming
Location: Minden NV
Pay: $20/hour
Schedule: Monday Friday 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Type: Temp-to-Hire
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Automation and Controls Engineer with expertise in PLC programming to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating editing and testing control software for Allen Bradley and/or Siemens systems. This role requires close communication with customers to integrate new systems with existing plant controls and involves participating in final wet testing to ensure all sub-routines function correctly. Travel for commissioning and customer support may be required.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop edit and test PLC ladder logic programs
Collaborate with customers to integrate automation controls with plant operations
Use drafting software such as AutoCAD Inventor Graphite and Adobe Illustrator
Conduct system commissioning and thorough testing of automation programs
Travel as needed to support system commissioning and customer needs
Job Requirements:
Proficiency in PLC ladder logic programming (Allen Bradley and/or Siemens preferred)
Experience with drafting software
Willingness to relocate to Minden NV
Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn
Excellent organizational and analytical skills
