TheLegalDepartment provides core legal support to all Dolby functions runs several IP-centric businesses and leads government relations.
Summary:
Dolby Laboratories is looking for a motivated intern passionate about technology and processes to join our Legal Operations team in San Francisco. Under the mentorship of Dolbys Legal Operations Manager you will support the Legal Departments transformation by participating in technology implementation projects and process improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Provide general system implementation support to the Legal Operations team including project management support and business analysis.
Complete assignments that will help identify opportunities to drive efficiency and improve system processes to streamline the IP Transactions and Legal Affairs teams service delivery to the broader organization.
Participate in collaborative problem solving with other departments including Sales Procurement IT etc.
Support policy development initiatives including knowledge articles user guides functional specifications etc.
Qualifications:
Currently working towards a Bachelors or Masters degree in graduation in Business Administration Legal Studies Management of Information Systems or a related field preferred; or a recent graduate within 6 months of graduation
High level of curiosity and interest in understanding the operational functions including processes and technology of an IP Licensing business.
Strong organization attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Takes initiative in day-to-day work as well as in seeking training opportunities.
Demonstrates creative data-driven problem-solving methods.
Positive and professional attitude including dependability and timeliness
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Eligibility:
Working towards a Bachelors or Masters degree; recent grads who are within 6 months of graduation are also eligible to apply. Must be available to work full-time Monday Friday for 3 months between September 2025 December 2025.

The San Francisco/Bay Area base hourly range for this internship position is $32-44/hrand can vary if outside of this location. Our hourly ranges are determined by role level and location. Within the range individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors including job-related skills experience and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific hourly range and perks and benefits for your location during the hiring process.
