Job Description:
The Senior Analyst supports the daily execution and oversight of ledger validation and payment control processes. This role contributes to the evolution of team workflows identifies process weaknesses and drives continuous improvements. As a subject matter expert the Senior Analyst also mentors Analysts and supports policy application (best practices are followed).
Key Responsibilities :
- Validate ledger entries and support approval processes.
- Review complex or non-standard transaction cases.
- Support real-time monitoring and resolution of operational issues.
- Provide guidance to Analysts on issue handling and best practices.
- Identify patterns and trends in errors or exceptions.
- Identify recurring operational issues and lead improvements.
- Lead incident post-mortems and process improvement efforts.
- Document and maintain control procedures and SOPs.
- Collaborate with product/tech teams to enhance tools and monitoring.
- 3-5 years of experience in payment operations or process control roles.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Experience with process documentation and team training.
- Proficiency in handling operational incidents and implementing controls.
