Awonderful Primary School in Coulsdonis offering a fantastic opportunity for aPrimary Teaching Assistantto join their team and support students across a range of year groups. This role is ideal for a patient graduate considering a future in Primary teaching and wanting hands-on experience in the classroom.
As aPrimary Teaching Assistant you will play a key role in helping students achieve their academic potential while working closely with teaching staff to deliver engaging lessons.
As a Primary Teaching Assistant your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting students in a range of subject areas including Phonics Maths English and Science both in-class and through small group interventions.
- Working with students who need additional support helping to boost their confidence and understanding.
- Assisting teachers with lesson preparation resource development and classroom management.
- Providing one-to-one support for students with SEND or those needing extra help with their studies.
- Offering targeted support for students preparing for exams helping them achieve their academic goals.
We are seeking a Primary Teaching Assistant who has:
- A 1st Class or 2:1 degree in any subject.
- A passion for education and a desire to work with young people.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and motivate students.
- A proactive and positive attitude with a willingness to support both students and staff in any way possible.
