Nestled in the heart of East Sacramento Dignity Health Mercy General Hospital is a 313 bed acute care facility that provides a wide range of services with special advocacy for the poor and underserved. Responsibilities
Position Summary:
Qualifications
- Current California RN licensure.
- Mnimum two (2) years of acute hospital clinical experience or a Masters degree in Case Management or Nursing field in lieu of 1 year experience.
- Prior Care Coordination experience in a clinical or insurance setting is required
- BLS required within 3 months of hiring
- Excellent customer service and presentation skills are a must.
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills are essential.
- Demonstrate ability to apply analytical and problem solving skills.
- Demonstrate ability to manage multiple tasks or projects effectively.
- Ability to work independently as needed with a high degree of detail orientation.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
- BSN degree or experience equivalent preferred.
- Certified Case Manager (CCM) Accredited Case Manager (ACM-RN) or UM Certification preferred
- At least five (5) years of nursing experience.
