Were looking for a Senior Consultant with an expertise in Planning to join us in EY GDS-SC&O. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a leading firm whilst being instrumental in the growth of a new service offering.

The opportunity

As part of our team you will help clients to improve the performance of their supply chain. Working with EY GDS -SC&O proprietary frameworks you will help clients to improve reliability flexibility and responsiveness of their supply chain triggering total cost reduction. Typical role representation includes operating models development redesigning planning processes optimizing working capital performing assessment based on various transactional data. On top of that a lot of projects require planning software capabilities to customize configure and test specific system functionalities and solutions to satisfy client requirements.

Your key responsibilities

Leading projects related to BY/JDA software including global solution design system implementation testing and configuration in line with client requirements to fulfill business needs

Work with the extended teams and/or clients to design and deliver actionable supply chain transformation
Deliver as part of a globally diverse consulting team entrusted with the task of delivering Supply Chain engagements for clients across various industries
Design planning solutions create operating models leading workshops & fit gap assesments (as is vs to be)

Translate business requirements into practical technical functionalities provided OMP SAP Kinaxis Blue Yonder etc.
Review and validate data and further build optimization models analytical reports and presentations
Setup or work on manage services contract as a SME (Subject Matter Expert)

Work on process design/ testing/ configuration / implementation projects related to the process or tool
Provide solutions to unstructured problems

Continuous upskilling to acquire planning capabilities for planning software OMP o9 Kinaxis Blue Yonder

Participate actively in building an industry focused practice across EY GDS service lines; specialization in a specific sector (CPG/FMCG Automotive Pharma etc.) will be an added advantage

Skills and attributes for success

Experience in planning systems and processes

Capability to work on big set of data with analytical thinking mindset to drive proper action plans
Effective communication and problem solving skills

Experience in customer facing role
Ability to work independently and proactively

To qualify for the role you must have

Higher Degree from Tier-1 with min 5 years of relevant business or consulting experience
Proficiency in SAP (MM PP MD APO modules) and/or JDA and/or Kinaxis and/or OMP and/or Aera
Proven supply / distribution / production planning and scheduling skills
Understanding of demand planning S&OP inventory management and process reengineering
Experience with analytical tools such as Python Llamasoft SQL will be an added asset

Fluent in English (C1 level) knowledge of other languages will be additional asset

Ideally youll also have

Ability to prepare and deliver presentations for client and management is an essential part of the role

Experience how to run Agile & Waterfall Projects in collaborative style
