Job Description
Truro Learning Academy is looking for a nurturing progressive and aspirational EYFS teaching assistant to support classes and individuals with special educational needs from age 2 and up.
Truro Learning Academy is a small school in the outskirts of Truro. We benefit from an urban setting with extensive space for outdoor learning. We are proud to work with families to support children from diverse backgrounds and in a warm family-focused culture. We are looking for a Nursery Assistant to work 30 hours per week term time plus two INSET days on a fixed term basis until 31st August 2026.
An Ideal Candidate will be:
An inclusive and supportive practitioner with the courage to try new ideas.
A team player who can work well alone using their initiative but also take direction.
Able to motivate challenge and inspire pupils to have a love of learning and to achieve their best.
An excellent communicator with effective interpersonal and organisational skills.
