Job Description
- Deliver innovative teaching build a nationally recognised research profile and engage with industry and community to enhance student experience and employability in Anthropology.
- Full-time appointment on a tenurable basis.
- Base salary range: Level B $113934. $134824 p.a. (pro-rata) plus 17% superannuation.
About the area
The School of Social Sciences offers a rich learning and research environment spanning a number of disciplinary and interdisciplinary themes with a focus on the applied social sciences. As well as undergraduate and postgraduate programs the School supports an active research program.
About the opportunity
- Deliver innovative undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in Anthropology (and related areas) develop curricula supervise students at all levels and enhance student experience and employability.
- Build a strong research portfolio with national recognition publish in high-quality outlets and secure external research funding through competitive grants and partnerships.
- Contribute to the School and University community foster industry and community partnerships support student placements and promote UWAs values of inclusion and diversity.
About you
- PhD in an academic field relevant to the discipline or other higher professional qualifications appropriate to their discipline
- Demonstrated commitment to delivering innovative teaching approaches assessment and materials for units and courses in Anthropology
- An emerging national research profile.
- Demonstrated commitment to embedding UWAs core values of openness honesty tolerance fairness and responsibility in all aspects of work
