Job Description:
As a Maintenance/Custodian Person at Milan Institute you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety functionality and cleanliness of our school facilities. Your responsibilities will include. You will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards within our facilities contributing to all individuals overall well-being and satisfaction. Responsibilities:
- General Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks such as repairing plumbing electrical systems and HVAC equipment.
- Building Repairs: Address and resolve minor structural issues including doors windows walls and roofs.
- Grounds Maintenance: Maintain the schools outdoor spaces including lawn care landscaping and snow removal during the winter months.
- Safety Inspections: Conduct regular safety inspections to identify and address potential hazards.
- Cleaning and Sanitization: Assist in maintaining a clean and hygienic environment including cleaning classrooms restrooms and common areas as needed.
- Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping mopping dusting and vacuuming floors and surfaces.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms including toilets sinks and fixtures ensuring they are well-stocked with necessary supplies.
- Empty and dispose of trash and recycling bins following proper waste management procedures.
- Clean windows mirrors and glass surfaces to maintain a polished appearance.
- Maintain and replenish cleaning supplies notifying the supervisor of any low stock or equipment issues.
- Assistin setting up meeting rooms and event spaces as needed.
- Ensure common areas such as hallways and reception areas are always clean and presentable.
- Monitor and report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
- Follow cleaning schedules and checklists to ensure all areas are thoroughly cleaned and maintained.
