The Marketing department creates passion and relevance for the Dolby Difference driving sell-in and sell-thru of Dolby enabled devices services content and experiences across multiple constituents partners creators consumers and developers.
Business requirement- E-retail is no longer a secondary channelit is the primary battleground for consumer attention brand storytelling and purchase decisions in the United States. In todays retail landscape consumer journeys increasingly begin online making digital retail platforms critical touchpoints for brand engagement and purchase decisions. Retailer websites are no longer just e-commerce storefrontsthey serve as immersive brand destinations where customers explore product features view demonstration content compare options and make informed buying decisions.
For a premium brand like Dolby ensuring that this digital shelf reflects the same level of excellence innovation and storytelling as our in-store presence is non-negotiable. As we continue to expand our retail marketing program delivering a consistent message across key digital touch-points become critical to delivering a unified brand experience.
Retailers like Best Buy Nebraska Furniture Mart Walmart and Crutchfield all offer sophisticated online platforms that serve as powerful engagement hubs for tech-savvy shoppers. To fully capitalize on these opportunities Dolby must invest in building and maintaining robust content-rich branded pages on each of these sites. These pages must reflect consistent messaging assets and a compelling narrative that educates inspires and compels shoppers to seek out Dolby-enabled devices.

About the role:
This internship is ideal for someone interested in a future career in digital marketing retail strategy or e-commerceand who wants to understand how leading brands like Dolby deliver excellence across every retail touchpoint. As an E-Retail Marketing Intern at Dolby you will play a pivotal role in supporting the management of Dolby-branded stores and ensuring consistent brand messaging across various retailer websites. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance Dolbys online presence contributing to the companys e-commerce strategy.

Eligibility
Working towards a Bachelors or Masters degree in Business Administration Marketing Business Analytics or a related field; recent grads who are within 6 months of graduation are also eligible to apply. Must be available to work full-time Monday Friday for 6 months between September 2025 March 2026.

The San Francisco/Bay Area base hourly range for this internship position is $32-44/hr and can vary if outside of this location. Our hourly ranges are determined by role level and location. Within the range individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors including job-related skills experience and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific hourly range and perks and benefits for your location during the hiring process.
