Your Tasks
As our Inhouse SAP Technology Consultant you will join our SAP Technology team which is responsible for ensuring reliable and secure operation of global SAP system landscapes (ERP S/4HANA BI PO Fiori etc.) throughout the Beiersdorf Group and providing technological support for innovative SAP digitalization projects.
You will be responsible for our SAP system landscapes (on-premise and in the cloud) that include the following tasks:
- Ensuring stable secure and high-performance system operation
- Discrete analysis of occurring problems and troubleshooting
- Take-over of 2nd level support within the area of SAP Basis support
- Implementation of change requests and system optimization measures
- Execution of SAP Basis activities such as creation and provisioning of SAP systems installation upgrades of SAP components and databases (HANA IBM-DB2)
- Collaboration and sub-project management in SAP-related innovation rollout or upgrade projects
- Provision and life cycle maintenance of the SAP front end (SAP GUI)
- Support the migration to SAP RISE and assist in transitioning to the new SAP operational model
- Further development of SAP Basis specific solutions with a focus on automation
- Contact person for questions and issues related to SAP Basis technology issues
- Taking over occasional specialist on-call duties as well as weekend and night work in consultation with the team within the framework of the companys on-call duty and overtime regulations
Your Profile
- Successfully completed studies in information technology business informatics (or similar) or comparable IT-specific training with relevant professional experience in the SAP Basis environment
- Several years of experience in a similar role
- Good knowledge in the support of SAP systems and SAP databases as well as experience in the SAP system operation in Azure
- Solid know-how in at least four of the below mentioned SAP Basis topics:
- SAP NetWeaver technology and architecture
- SAP ERP S/4HANA BW/4HANA BW/BI/BO Fiori PO SCM
- Upgrades conversions homogeneous system copies heterogeneous migrations
- SAP Security
- Database systems SAP HANA and IBM DB2-LUW
- Windows Server and SUSE Linux Enterprise Server
- Experience in SAP Business Technology Platform and SAP cloud ALM is a plus
- High service orientation with a strong sense of quality and responsibility
- Analytical-conceptual way of thinking independent and solution-oriented approach
- Ability to work under pressure and willingness to constantly familiarize yourself with new topics
- Fluent English and German required
