Program Manager - Data Center Real Estate

Were seeking a strategic and collaborative professional to help shape the future of cloud computing infrastructure by identifying and securing critical data center locations across the United States.
Your day will be dynamic and impactful focusing on advancing our cloud computing infrastructure. Youll navigate complex real estate landscapes build relationships with diverse stakeholders and translate strategic vision into tangible locations that power global technology.
We are a collaborative group dedicated to expanding cloud computing infrastructure. Our work directly supports technological innovation by identifying and developing strategic data center locations. Key job responsibilities
Strategic Acquisition: Lead comprehensive real estate acquisition processes from initial engagement through final negotiations
Project Coordination: Develop comprehensive site plans and project schedules that harmonize business objectives with community considerations
Stakeholder Engagement: Represent our organization in government meetings and public forums securing critical approvals
Cross-Functional Leadership: Build and guide interdisciplinary teams of vendors consultants and contractors
Continuous Improvement: Contribute to evolving data center design principles and best practices

About the team
AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design planning delivery and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words were the people who keep the cloud running. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers storage networking power and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. We work on the most challenging problems with thousands of variables impacting the supply chain and were looking for talented people who want to help.
Youll join a diverse team of software hardware and network engineers supply chain specialists security experts operations managers and other vital roles. Youll collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. And youll experience an inclusive culture that welcomes bold ideas and empowers you to own them to completion.
- 3 years of program or project management experience
- 3 years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
- 3 years of driving end to end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- 3 years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience in stakeholder management dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes project management and schedules
