In this position

As a Global Core STA Manager you will develop STA point of viewwith Technical Experts and affected regions on manufacturing feasibility risk assessment and manufacturing readiness of new technologies.



Responsibilities

What youll do...

  • Develop STA point of viewwith Technical Experts and affected regions on manufacturing feasibility risk assessment and manufacturing readiness of new technologies.
  • Develop manufacturing feasibility plans for new parents new technology and high-risk commodities
  • Drive robust sourcing risk assessments on new/potential electronics suppliers and existing suppliers with new commodities
  • Develop global lessons learned and prevent recurrence
  • Provide support to Site STA engaging suppliers Global Management team to address systemic quality capacity and manufacturing issues
  • Lead the development and implementation of issue prevention initiatives
  • Collaborate with your peers in Product Development Purchasing and STA
  • Support people development process for Global Core STA engineers development


Qualifications

Youll have...

  • 10 years minimum experience
  • Bachelor of Science/Engineering or academic equivalent
  • Ability to speak and write in the English language fluently to effectively communicate with global teams
  • Advanced knowledge of electronics and EDS manufacturing processes
  • Ability to solve the most complex manufacturing or technical issues by participating as a manufacturing technical expert
  • Performing manufacturing feasibility assessments
  • Operational experience in electronics manufacturing processes and process control
  • Experience in project management problem solving technical people management and issue prevention

Even better you may have...

  • MBA/MS preferred Electrical/Mechanical. Extended relevant experience will be considered in place of academic qualifications for the right candidate.
  • Experience in process planning implementation and launch in electronics manufacturing systems
  • Must be able to communicate effectively and efficiently with higher level management
  • Experience with typical automotive supplier/NPI/problem solving related processes such as PPAP APQP Six Sigma etc
