Description
Perform a variety of technical duties to assist Hygiene in the examination and treatment of patients; perform related duties involved in the care and maintenance of dental instruments equipment supplies and record keeping. In Dental Outreach the hygienist and outreach hygiene assistant collaborate to deliver care in non-traditional settings such as schools and long-term care facilities under the guidance of the sponsoring dentist. Must be dependable and have good attention to detail.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Clean driving record required.
- 1 year of Dental Assisting experience preferred.
- Completion of an accredited dental assistant program or relevant work experience preferred.
- Certification in dental radiography (X-ray certification) preferred.
- 1 year of FQHC experience preferred.
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
- CPR certification for Health Care Providers preferred.
- Current vaccination record meeting ACIP Healthcare Workers Recommendations.
