Additional Information: This hotel is owned and operated by an independent franchisee Lotus Hotels. The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International Inc. The franchisee solely controls all aspects of the hotels employment policies and practices including hiring firing discipline staffing compensation benefits and all other terms and conditions of employment. If you accept a position at this hotel you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International Inc.

The Hotel Engineer is responsible for maintaining the hotels facilities and equipment to ensure a safe comfortable and well-maintained environment for guests and team members. This role involves routine maintenance troubleshooting and emergency repairs across a variety of building systems including HVAC electrical plumbing and general building upkeep.

Perform daily inspections and preventive maintenance of all mechanical electrical HVAC and plumbing systems.
Respond promptly to guest room and public area service requests and maintenance issues.
Maintain the exterior of the property including parking areas landscaping signage and lighting.
Ensure all equipment and systems are operating in accordance with brand and safety standards.
Monitor and maintain hotel life safety systems (fire alarms extinguishers sprinklers etc.).
Maintain accurate records of maintenance work repairs and inspections.
Assist with renovation or special projects as directed.
Ensure tools and maintenance supplies are properly inventoried and maintained.
Work with outside contractors when needed and ensure work meets brand standards.
Comply with Marriott and local/state safety codes and regulations.
Provide support for minimal snow removal and seasonal upkeep.

The hourly rate of pay for this position is $27.
