Work collaboratively with clients to transform their business through disruptive innovation enablement and transformational design solutions. Support clients in modernizing systems processes and products to enhance business and customer-facing platforms and services to support high performance in a rapidly changing and competitive environment. Research emerging technologies to decide if installing them can increase the organizations efficiency and effectiveness. Devise ways to add new functionality to existing computer systems. Design and implement new systems by choosing and configuring hardware and software. Oversee the installation and configuration of new systems to customize them for the organization.

Manage and motivate teams of professionals with diverse skills and backgrounds. Consistently deliver quality client services by monitoring progress. Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Maintain long-term client relationships and networks. Cultivate business development opportunities.

Full time employment Monday Friday 40 hours per week 8:30 am 5:30 pm.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Must have a Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering Information Systems Management or a related field and 7 years of work experience (5 years must be progressive post-baccalaureate work experience).

With a Bachelors degree must have 5 years of experience in the following:
- Strategic Big Data initiatives focused in financial services.
- Architecting Big Data applications using a minimum of 3 of the following Hadoop technologies: Spark MapReduce YARN HDFS Hive Impala Oozie HBase Elasticsearch Elk or Cassandra.
- Working with Business Intelligence teams Data Integration developers Data Scientists and Analysts and DBAs to deliver well-architected and scalable Big Data & Analytics eco-system.
- Event stream processing technologies such as Spark streaming Storm Akka or Kafka.
- At least one programming language (Java Scala R or Python).
- At least one major Hadoop platform (Cloudera Hortonworks or MapR).
- At least one Next Gen database (distributed graph MongoDB Couchbase or NoSql).
- Experience in one or more of the following architectures:
o Service Oriented Architecture such as: SOA Architectures and Solutions or Microservices based Architectures and Solutions.
o Designed and developed business solutions on one or more of the following platforms: AWS GCP or Azure.
o Transformation or migration of an existing solution from legacy to cloud based platforms.
- Agile delivery methodology.

Alternatively will accept a Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering Information Systems Management or related field and 5 years of work experience.

With a Masters degree must have 3 years of experience in the following:
- Strategic Big Data initiatives focused in financial services.
- Architecting Big Data applications using a minimum of 3 of the following Hadoop technologies: Spark MapReduce YARN HDFS Hive Impala Oozie HBase Elasticsearch Elk or Cassandra.
