Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented part-time sales receptionist to join our Hyundai Service team. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills and the ability to multi-task. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and have a positive attitude we would love to hear from you!
This position is part time 3 days a week in the evenings from 4pm - 9pm with every otherSaturday 8am - 5pm.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operate switchboard telephone system
- Communicate with callers in a professional friendly and efficient manner striving to minimize the amount of time customers spend on hold
- Provide basic information to callers who have general inquires
- Prepare sales and service gas tickets for the accounting department
- Serve as a backup to the service department cashier
- Assist the General Manager with various clerical duties as needed
- Be friendly professional courteous and efficient when working with all customers and employees
- Receive cash checks and credit card payments from customers and record the amount receivedon the repair order and/or counter ticket.
- Work with department managers to keep abreast of new products and services offered by thedealership and any changes in price.
- Handle customer complaints with integrity and poise and take or refer the complaining customerto the appropriate individual for further communication.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Experience using Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to work effectively with customers vendors and employees while handling multiple tasks simultaneously
- Must be willing to submit to a drug screen & background check
