Associate Director of Facilities

Job Summary: Reporting to the Director of Campus Recreation the Associate Director of Campus Recreation provides comprehensive leadership for facility and operational needs of the 200000 square foot Campus Recreation Center as well as satellite fields and associated facilities. The Associate Director of Campus Recreation is considered a key member of the senior leadership team and provides leadership and development to three professional staff members as well as indirect leadership to a graduate assistant and 70 student employees. In addition the Associate Director of Campus Recreation is responsible for oversight of large-scale capital projects strategic planning fiscal and resource management oversight of third-party custodial services work order management strategic assessment and data collection and other duties as assigned. The Associate Director of Campus Recreation must be a student-centered visionary leader who comes to work every day with a collaborative spirit.

Salary: Salary: $63668 - $80116; commensurate with experience
What We Expect
- Masters degree
- Three (3) years of successful full time paid employment in campus recreation or community recreation programs to include supervisory programming budgetary and facility management responsibilities

- You excel at leading and developing high performing teams including vision setting consensus building managing performance and staff development.
- You understand the importance of managing large complex budgets within a higher education setting and providing financial stewardship over student fees.
- You are excited to lead and/or support large complex recreation centers and aquatic facilities including day-to-day operations risk management facility maintenance custodial services and long-term capital planning.
- You are motivated by leading and/or supporting large capital improvement projects and providing strategic direction throughout the project management lifecycle.
