As a member of Amazons Global Retail Systems Development team youll play a key role in solving complex technical challenges involving Large-scale computing Distributed systems Web applications Data mining Scalability Security and Algorithms.

To meet these challenges the Retail Systems team is looking for passionate talented and innovative software engineers for a new team that will be based in Bangalore.
You are expected to solve complex problems at massive scale. You will build Interfaces that embrace the best practices of Usability Accessibility security and performance. You will build systems with robust design and produce APIs that are intuitive.

- 5 years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 5 years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
- 5 years of leading design or architecture (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience as a mentor tech lead or leading an engineering team
- 5 years of full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations experience
- Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent
