Responsibilities
o Thorough knowledge of Database binaries installation configurations troubleshooting performance tuning skills required.
o Experience implementing and managing Clustering High Availability systems and Disaster recovery systems.
o Strong experience on Oracle versions 11g 12c and 19c along with Linux RHEL and OUL.
o Strong experience on Postgres 9x 10x 11x 12x 13x and 14x versions
o Ability to diagnose problems and triage/resolve issues across various tiers (application network database server or storage tiers).
o Must have strong experience with shell scripting and Python as optional
o Ability to implement automation to reduce manual administrative tasks through use of jobs or other technologies.
o Experience in database upgrade/migrate patching backup recovery of large databases.
o Plan and implement major upgrades ensuring system integrity and monitoring
o Extensive hands-on experience in Database migrations from lower to higher versions in
o Database Backup & Recovery replication in bi-direction.
o Own database maintenance plans including rebuilding/reorganizing indexes integrity checks and others
o Experience with Enterprise environment change control procedure.
o Work with developers to improve database performance slow running queries / processing
o Ensure high levels of performance availability sustainability and security
o Environments Setup High Availability as part Disaster Recovery Strategy for the Databases
o Implement and maintain database security
o Analyze solve and prepare RCA for production outages.
o Debug and troubleshoot database system failures and provide solutions quickly.
o Participate in planning efforts with stakeholders and IT groups.
o Analyze business process application requirements to produce formal analysis and design documents with minimal supervision.
o Provide cost/time estimates capacity planning of database environments.
o Institute process for continuous improvement perform other related duties as assigned.
o Assist on critical production issues identify root cause and provide mitigation plan.
o Manage relationship with customers to understand customer and project needs and priorities
o Work with various product/application teams across the company
o Understand the product architecture and prepare Service Improvement for efficiency.

Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications / Skills
Bachelors degree required.
Experience on multiple database technologies primarily Oracle and Postgres.
Experience in implementing and managing database clustering and HA/DR systems.
Ability to develop SQL and PL/SQL scripts and Strong Automation mindset/experience.

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
Strong communicator English in spoken and written form
Should be flexible and open to work in 24x7 environment in any shifts willing to work on holidays over weekends as per the demand from Project.
