Drive technical excellence in high-voltage cable systems
As a Junior Engineer you will be responsible for the technical documentation and design of high-voltage land cable systems. You will work closely with experienced engineers and project teams to ensure the feasibility accuracy and quality of our cable solutions. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop your engineering skills in a supportive and forward-thinking environment. Your responsibility will be to:
Examine tenders for technical feasibility and make informed decisions
Perform technical calculations and design complete cable systems
Prepare technical documentation and overview drawings
Coordinate the setup of cables accessories and services
Support technical negotiations and customer acceptance tests
The position is based in Cologne Germany with occasional travel to customer sites or project meetings.

You are a proactive and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a collaborative environment. You enjoy solving technical challenges and are eager to contribute to meaningful projects that support the green transition. Your strong communication skills and adaptability make you a valuable team member and you are always ready to learn and grow. You also have:
A Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering
Experience in modeling and sizing cable systems
Initial exposure to high-voltage or large-scale engineering projects
Proficiency in German and English both written and spoken
Strong IT skills including Microsoft 365 SAP COMSOL MATLAB and programming knowledge
Preferred: Familiarity with Microsoft Project and technical documentation tools
